The Scrapchicks recently were busy with special Christmas projects and gifts, making everything from holiday invitations to calendars that contain a different family photo for each month. "I've made three important books for gifts with the Web site since this past June," she said. According to Norris, it is much faster than traditional scrapbooking and allows the freedom of doing it anywhere with just a laptop. Norris had remained with traditional scrapbooking until this past spring when she gave online scrapping a try, with Shutterfly, a Web site where users can process and share digital photos. I love it because it's productive, relaxing time creating books our family loves and making special gifts," she says. "It taught me it's OK to cut pictures, and to toss pictures I don't like. She says she was introduced to it by attending a scrapbooking party and was instantly hooked. Scrapchick mother of two, Corinne Norris of Portsmouth, began the hobby eight years ago when her first child was born. For busy mothers, it is an answer to what to do with all those photos sitting in a box in their closet.
